BA (Hons), Dip CNM, mBANT, CNHC reg. Nutritionist / Nutritional Therapist
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy uses functional testing, food, natural food supplements, some herbs and lifestyle advice to help correct imbalances within the body which lead to disease, or prevent us from achieving our optimal state of health.
Nutritional Therapy is a holistic therapy which considers all systems of the body and their interconnectivity, with the aim of addressing the underlying cause of the problem, rather than merely treating the symptoms.
How can I help you?
I specialise in supporting female health, digestive issues, weight management, stress and fatigue.
So many women suffer with debilitating conditions, such as PCOS, Endometriosis, PMS, Fibroids and with challenging menopausal symptoms. Mainstream medicine offers limited options in terms of relieving and controlling these conditions. However, you don't have to just put up and shut up. There is lots that can be done through nutrition, lifestyle changes and appropriate supplementation to support your improved wellbeing. I am passionate about empowering women to take control of their health, to help them overcome these common complaints.
Stress is a major cause of illness in modern society and something very few of us are able to avoid completely. When severe and prolonged, stress can eventually lead to more serious health conditions, and even further hormonal imbalances and chronic fatigue, so it is important that we learn to manage the impact stress has on us effectively to avoid or overcome such challenges. I can help you with this by providing expert nutrition and lifestyle advice.
Chronic fatigue can stem from a number of imbalances within the body. I help my clients to identify the root cause through functional testing and then we work together to address those imbalances through nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Are you struggling to manage your weight? Fed up with counting calories and 'diets' that are unsustainable and lead to a poor relationship with food? If so, a naturopathic approach to weight loss could be the answer. If you would like to know more about weight loss programmes I offer, feel free to contact me.
